Robbie Whittle is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from the University of South Carolina's School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a degree in broadcast journalism and joins the TV8 crew as the sports director.
From the sidelines of the FCS Championship in Frisco to the slopes of the X Games in Aspen, Robbie has covered a wide variety of different sporting events over the course of his career.
Some of the highlights include a trip to Las Vegas for the last PAC-12 Conference media week, ESPN College GameDay’s first trip to Bozeman, Montana skiers qualifying for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing as well as Montana State men’s basketball's first NCAA tournament berth since 1996.
In the past, Robbie worked as the sports director of NBC Montana and interned in the newsroom of WACH FOX-57. He also worked as a pregame show host for the Lexington County Blowfish.
